My first priority is taking care of the crew, making sure they’re all stoked and got everything they need to keep kickin ass. Secondly, I help design new Take product and have some words with the high up Take homies as to what to do with frames, clothing, the team, trips, etc. I also take care of the Take Myspace and answer all sorts of emails with anything ranging from “send me stickers” to “sponsor me because I like to have fun”…

It’s my responsibility to make sure that all the crew is living regretless, constantly stoked on life and shredding little kids bikes. I otherwise hate responsibility, unless it’s that terrible MXPX song “Responsibility”.

Haha shit, probably my bike on 4 separate occasions!! The first time at a Vans Triple Crown, back when they still had those. The next was my Rotten Bikes frame (an old local SD company) that was ran by one of my idols at the time, now that dude sucks. That Rotten bike was snaked from me while I was in a Cingular Wireless store. Next snaking was a T-1 frame that I actually retrieved back when I saw some ratty kid riding it through town. I just so happened to have a baseball bat on me at the time in my friends truck too, so I looked like I was ready to mutilate upon stopping him in a busy intersection. The fourth time was when I was working at my local pizza joint, some dude snaked the bike right from under my nose and it was my friends bike too. Luckily, my buddy Mike was able to retrieve it after some Mexican kid rode by his work on the stolen ride. 4 bikes stolen, 2 retrieved. I haven’t had a bike stolen from me in years, those snakings all happened when I was between the ages of 16 and 18.

I’ve been stoked on bmx since I was 13 and I will continue to be stoked until I die in an unfortunate accident where demons tear out my innards.

I’m a pretty sloppy edgeman, I probably max out pretty quick at an average speed of 69 miles an hour.

I once high 5’d Albert in a Give D! edit that had a running jump to it, I would say it was almost tooo legit. High 5s are cool but I’m more about a D! straight to your god damn knuckles.

Ha I really don’t know how I ended up with this role as The Take TM. I was talking to Steve Crandall through emails back and forth one day and he said “hey fuck this, what’s your number, I’m going to call you”. I was stoked of course because its Crandall, he gives me a ring a few minutes later and says there was a meeting amongst the distro guys over there. He tells me that my name was brought up at said meeting with a possibility for Team Manager for The Take… From there it was just me being stoked and hittin up Crandall for more info until I started speaking to Mike Erb. Then it all just fell into place and well here I am. Pretty fucking kick ass if you ask me, I’m still stoked that my name would even get brought up anywhere for what I do. STOKED.

When I met my hero, Dave Young at the S&M 20th Anniversary party last year. That dudes section in Nowhere Fast can still hang with most of today’s recent shred vids.

I’ve got nothing but good Dirt Ron stories… This one time we were at a bonfire on the beach in SD, our fire pit was roaring pretty good. Dirt Ron was tossed up and he tried to jump over the fire pit, he tripped and tumbled into the fire. He rolled around in there for a good few seconds, slowly realizing what had gone wrong. He then came out of the fire completely unscathed and all of his curly glorious hair was just fine. We all just laughed it off and Ron didn’t even give a shit. Sometimes I think Ron is Jesus, then I realize Jesus has regrets. Dirt Ron doesn’t even know what regrets are.

Because I was terrible in school and still don’t give a shit.

No Regrets. Life is too short, enjoy it to the fullest extent. Get fucking rad, have a good time, high 5 and D! everything. Shit on your enemies. 69 420 BOOFs! Never live by the term “Full Regrets” and stay away from Indie music.
