I don't know if I'm influenced by any other riders. I have a
lot of love for all the great talent out there but I just really try
to bring my own style to the table.

The Take Time 2 in 20.5
What inspires you to ride?
My friends, the freedom, the lifestyle and most of all the fun!!!

of?
I work at KW screen printing and have my own gig called "Punk
Az Fuck Nailz."
iPod equipped while riding or shit talkin' with
the dudes?
Both but the iPod comes out when I'm on a solo session.
What music are you listening to lately? Does your
music choice change while on your bike?
It stays the same.... Punk Rock!
Favorite terrain and spots to ride?
Old town Portland/industrial area and all the grimey spots I
can find.
Favorite BMX video of all time?
Blueprint
Something you could never get tired of?
Riding bmx, camping, fishing, shooting photos and getting tattooed
at Lady Luck Tattoo by Mad Marcii!
Interests outside of riding?
Punk shows, camping, shooting photos, surfing, fishing, moped and
getting tattooed.
Any goals with The Take you hope to accomplish?
More road trips cause the team kicks ass and maybe a signature frame
one day?
What's the current status of BMX to you? Do you
care?
I feel it's become too commercialized. It's all about money
and appearance, who you know, and who you are sponsored by. So many
great riders get over looked because they don't have the "in style" or
the wrong sponsors or none at all… And of course I care, it's a huge
part of my life!
An ideal day with Caleb Ruecker:
Let's see… That would entail having some yummy tea at my favorite
spot, followed by some greasy pizza, then onto riding around town looking
at old buildings, scavenger hunting, taking photos… If time allows,
get in a bit of fishing and watch the sunset.
